Reflections from the Heart
Below are some kind words from those who’ve joined my classes, retreats, and shared this journey. I’m so grateful for every person who has stepped into the space — each experience shared is a part of the wider tapestry we’re weaving together.
Whether you're curious about joining or simply passing through, I hope these words offer a little glimpse into the spirit of what we share.

Patsy:
I have been going to mainly Hatha yoga classes over nearly 50 years. I felt quite lost when my yoga studio closed and the teacher moved to another career.
But I found Julia's classes advertised and went along. Not being familiar with Kundalini and not knowing any of my fellow yogis it was daunting to walk through the door on that first morning.
Julia and the class were so very welcoming from the moment I set my mat down. Julia took time then and continues to do so, to find out my body's abilities and the areas that needed care. From day one I trusted her and felt at home.
As time has gone by I have been supported and nurtured in my practice. I note how Julia takes such care and understanding with all of her class - whether new to yoga or old know alls like me.
Every class is different and brings differing benefits, likewise her lovely retreats.
I've always found my fellow travellers in yoga terms to be the nicest of people- but I can honestly say this group is the best ever. This is without a doubt down to Julia's ability to include everyone and to build a spirit of peace and joy which stays with us long after we've rolled up our mats.
I am so glad to have plucked up the courage to have walked through the door.
So I wholeheartedly recommend Yoga Loveliness.

Julia had not long got the beautiful Ruby when I first went along to her classes. I love dogs, but I was nervous, self-conscious, overweight and at a real low.
Julia was very welcoming and instantly, I felt like I'd known her a long time. She is friendly and helpful and she has an excellent eye for each person's individual need. My Kundalini Yoga journey with Julia started.
The length of her knowledge in all the meditations she taught us brightened my existence and I became much more comfortable over such a short time. I felt more confident about what I was learning. Her expertise lifted my spirits and by moving my body, I found the perfect fix.
I lost six stones in three years due to mindfulness, movement and strength of my inner and outer core. I found my whole life began to change. Julias Yoga classes left me feeling full of joy. My mental health pleasing soared too. I would finish the session and walk out feeling ten feet tall and I knew I had excelled when I woke myself snoring to sound healing at one of her retreats!
There is never a dull moment it is fun and timeless. 'Such a treat. I would recommend Julia in a heartbeat.'
We each have a story to tell and if by serendipity you chance to see her advertisements, the car or flyers give her a call you won't regret it. It's a great way to 'paws' and look at your surroundings with Julia's and Ruby's Loveliness.

Over a Couple years ago I came to a point when I was looking for something for myself and was not aware that there are different forms of Yoga, luckily I found this class locally, and immediately felt welcome.
The lessons are varied, adaptable to how you are since we are all different and no matter how drained you are at the start, there is this calmness and rejuvenation when following a class with Julia.
Kundalini yoga is not an aggressive style and has changed me to become more flexible and calm, Julia has an empathy with those around her and quickly supports and advises us when we are struggling, Julia maintain a very safe environment within her class.
I would whole heartedly recommend her classes and her monthly retreats that offer an extended lesson with new themes every time.

Attending Julia's Kundalini yoga class has been a truly transformative experience.
Julia is an incredible teacher—her warmth, kindness, and genuine care for everyone in the room make each session feel like a safe and nurturing space.
The combination of Kundalini yoga, mindfulness, and sound healing is incredibly powerful, leaving me feeling grounded, rejuvenated, and deeply at peace after every class.
What makes this experience even more special is the community Julia has created. It's a group of like-minded, supportive individuals who make you feel welcomed and valued from day one.
Being part of such a positive and uplifting environment has been a gift, and it’s clear that Julia's compassionate energy is the heart of it all.
I feel so grateful to be part of something this unique and inspiring. Highly recommend!
Tina:
I joined Julia’s classes because I suffer with back pain and I hoped the gentle style of yoga would help strengthen my back.
What I didn’t expect to find was a class to strengthen my soul..calming, mindful, strengthening and nourishing. I genuinely had no idea I could obtain all of this from a form of exercise.
That was several years ago now and her monthly retreats are now booked out on my calendar for the whole year. Her summer outdoor classes set me up for the week. Her voice has become like a balm that instantly calms me down.
You just need to try it..just once and then you really won’t be able to imagine how you got through life’s ups and downs without her and the fabulous and kind yogis that attend. Try it and find a peace and calmness that you didn’t even know existed.

I've been attending Julia's yoga lessons for over five years now and always come away feeling calm and relaxed.
Julia has a special gift of being able to take you on a "journey" where you feel so at ease you can completely let yourself go and be guided by her to very deep levels of relaxation ( almost dreamlike by the end of the shavasana time).
Thank you Julia and RD.
Liza:
Julia is amazing, very kind and is tuned in to us all.
I love the style of yoga she teaches and she explains it all very well.
I have been going to different yoga classes for years now but have finally found one that I can connect to and feel at peace.
PS Having Ruby there is the icing on the cake x
Claire:
Julia’s voice is something else…..so soothing, calm and absolutely perfectly suited to the classes! I could listen to her all day!
Thank you, Julia for looking after us all so well. Oh and not forgetting Ruby Doo, who also keeps an eye on us all and checks we’re doing OK! xx

These words are part of a living story — one we continue to write together.
Thank you for being part of it…
With love & tail wags
